Meet Shannon, Safety Stop’s logistics coordinator and customer service specialist! Shannon has been working as a professional in the scuba dive industry since 2012 and absolutely loves to share her knowledge and passion for the sea and everything scuba wherever she goes. She has been the senior instructor and head of logistics for scuba dive shops throughout Southeast Asia, Australia and the Middle East and has recently been trying her hand at scuba equipment servicing! In addition to running the behind the scenes of the business, Shannon is now learning to perfect her skills as a technician under the guidance of our senior scuba equipment service manager.

Meet Matt, Safety Stop’s senior scuba equipment service technician! Matt has been working as a dive professional in the dive industry since 2007 and is passionate about all aspects of the scuba dive industry! He started out as a scuba dive instructor and has since dived head first into dive shop management and ownership and is a certified scuba equipment service technician for most brands of dive gear. He has lived and worked in the scuba diving industry throughout various parts of Australia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East and loves to share his fun stories and the extra knowledge that he’s picked up around the world with anyone who wants to talk scuba diving with him! After having been the senior scuba equipment servicing technician in most of the shops he has worked in internationally, Matt has decided to open up his own scuba equipment servicing centre to share his expertise and knowledge with the Brisbane and Gold Coast scuba dive community! Matt knows that every breath matters and takes great pride in keeping scuba divers safe underwater.
