Warranty Information

The BAVARIA compressor warranty includes a free exchange within the first 500 hours of operation and a free replacement of warrantable parts within the first 1000 hours of operation.
·IDE will repair and/or replace parts that are acknowledged to be faulty during the warranty period.
·IDE will not be liable for any other expenses or consequential damages sustained by the dealer or end-user.
·Routine maintenance and unscheduled service must be carried out in compliance with the instructions in this manual. Failure to properly service the compressor will void the warranty. Contact IE in writing for technical assistance and/or for instructions for any procedures not covered in this manual.
·IDE cannot be held liable for any delays or consequential damages resulting from failures to execute service.
·IDE cannot be held liable for damage or malfunctions caused by work performed on the compressor by unauthorized or untrained personnel.
·BAVARIA guarantees that its compressors are free from defects in design, workmanship and materials for a period of two years starting from the date of delivery. Any flaws or defects must be reported to IDE in writing within 2 months of discovery. Failure to report a defect withing the specified timing will render the warranty null and void.
·The warranty covers flaws or faults that occur when the compressor is used for the purpose specified with this manual and when all required service is properly performed.
·The warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting from improper use, exposure to damaging atmospheric conditions (precipitation, extreme cold, etc.), or damage during transport.
·Some parts and materials (filters, drive belts, oil, etc.) are considered “wear” items that need to be periodically replaced as part of standard maintenance, and are not included in this warranty.
·The warranty is immediately rendered null and void if the compressor is tampered with, altered, or if work is performed by anyone not trained or authorized by BAVARIA.
·BAVARIA alone shall determine the applicability of the warranty on a case by case basis. A compressor that has been acknowledged by BAVARIA to be faulty in terms of design, materials or workmanship shall be repaired or replaced at no charge.

·This warranty does not include transportation or delivery charges of spare parts or any materials/components that are considered to be consumable or wear items. Transportation charges are the responsibility of the owner/operator/user.
·Labor charges for IDE supplied technician(s) to perform warranty work while on site at the compressor installation locations will be an expense covered by IDE. Travel charges, accommodation costs, incidental expenditures encountered in order for the technician to work on site will be the responsibility of the owner/operator/user.
The act of taking delivery of machines and/or faulty components or the sending of technicians to assess the presumed effects and/or flaws reported by the customer does not in itself imply acknowledgement that the defect is covered by warranty. Repairs and/or replacements made by IDE during the warranty period do not in any way prolong the warranty itself. Acknowledgement that a defect is covered by warranty does not in itself mean that BAVARIA is in any way liable to award compensation. BAVARIA cannot be held liable for any other direct or indirect damages due to compressor defects and flaws (loss of production or earnings, etc.)except in cases where serious negligence is demonstrated.
